It’s hard to believe, but the Wedding Chapel has been in its new home for over a year now and it’s finally starting to feel settled. Upgrades and renovations have been a little slow going since the restoration has been based mainly on donations, but finally the day has come and our long awaited fountain is finished! We’ve tried to keep the space alive with potted plants and flowers rather than letting the area stay blank, but it’s very satisifying to be able to present this new addition to our future couples! This opens up more photo opportunities and creates a more romantic setting in the courtyard with the sound of babbling water amongst the flourishing greenery. Check it out!
In other news, if you recently passed by the Chapel and were greeted by a big white tent, don’t worry! The time had come to tent the Chapel for routine pest control. The majority of the historic building is wooden and we had begun to notice signs of possible termite residence, so we decided to nip it in the bud and take care of the little suckers before it became a problem. The Chapel is all nice and clean and ready greet more couples!
